Today, the 20th of Jumādal Ākhirah, marks the anniversary of the birthday of the daughter of the Prophet of Allah (s), Sayyidah Fāṭimah az-Zahrā. According to some reports, she was born on the day of Friday in the 5th year after the mabʻath (delegation).
It is narrated that she was the one who most resembled the Prophet in her speech, her character, and even her manner of walking. Whenever she would enter upon the Messenger of Allah (s), he would welcome her, kiss her hand, and make her sit in his place. When he longed for the scent of Paradise he would smell her. He used to say, “Fāṭimah is a part of me. Whoever pleases her has indeed pleased me, and whoever displeases her has indeed displeased me. Fāṭimah is the most beloved of people to me.”
